Welcome to official website for the North American Swiss Singing Alliance (NASSA) Saengerfest 2018, held in HOLY TOLEDO!

Thank you to all the member choirs of NASSA for coming to Toledo and experiencing what a vibrant and thriving community we have. Thank you, Toledo, for coming out and supporting our group and to all who visited the Renaissance Hotel and experienced a little bit of yodeling. Thank you to our local media, especially WTGE Public Media and Lamar Advertising, for helping us get the word out that, "Yodeling is coming!"

We'll be sharing more on the website in the coming days, but in the meantime, sit back and relax, singers and Toledo Swiss Singers. We've earned a nice summer break.

Don't forget to order your exclusive "Yodel Better in Toledo" apparel, for a limited time! Learn more about Saengerfest apparel.

Video: Swiss Singers yodel for Toledo Mayor

Ahead of their big weekend, members of The Toledo Swiss Singers visited One Government Center on Thursday to pick up a proclamation and yodel for City of Toledo Mayor Wade Kapszukiewicz.

In his proclamation, Mayor Kapszukiewicz recognized the Singers for hosting Saengerfest 2018 in Toledo as well as celebrating 150 years as a community staple.

“WHEREAS, the Toledo Swiss Singers are elevating the human spirit through their performances,” the proclamation states. “The City of Toledo applauds the Toledo Swiss Singers for their many accomplishments and recognizes the singers for so positively representing our city during this very special, international competition.”

Watch the Singers yodel for the Mayor below:

The Singers will join hundreds from more than a dozen choirs from across North America to present an international showcase of Swiss culture at the Saengerfest 2018 Grand Concert at 7 p.m. June 30, on the historic stage of the Valentine Theatre, 410 Adams St. in Downtown Toledo. 13abc’s Tony Geftos will serve as the Master of Ceremonies. The Toledo Swiss Singers’ Micah Graber will conduct.

The groups will also compete at a Prize Singing Competition at 1 p.m. earlier in the day, also at the Valentine. Both events are open to the public. Tickets are available through the Valentine Box Office online and via telephone, 419-242-2787.

The Singers also recently sang the National Anthem at a Toledo City Council meeting, as well as yodel for the members.
